Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year plus bonus

We are expanding our commercial portfolio and are looking for an Electrical Estimator / Project Manager who can help Lunex price projects accurately, win strategic commercial work, and manage awarded jobs from kickoff through closeout.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys estimating and seeing the work built in the field.
Position Summary
The Electrical Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for preparing competitive bids for commercial electrical projects and managing those projects through completion. This role combines analytical estimating with hands-on project oversight, client communication, and coordination with field teams.
You will play a key role in helping Lunex expand its commercial portfolio and build strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating
-
Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

Perform quantity takeoffs for lighting, power, distribution, and low-voltage as applicable

Develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates

Request and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotes

Prepare proposals, alternates, and value-engineering options

Track bid status and maintain bid calendar

Support business development by identifying upcoming opportunities

Project Management

Serve as primary point of contact for the customer for awarded projects

Attend kickoff meetings, site visits, and progress meetings

Review and coordinate submittals, RFIs, change orders, and scheduling

Work directly with field foreman providing guidance

Monitor project budgets, timelines, and labor usage

Prepare closeout documents and ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications

3–7+ years of electrical estimating and/or project management experience

Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and NEC
-
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Experience with estimating or takeoff software (Accubid)

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Strong organizational ability and attention to detail

Capable of managing multiple active bids and projects simultaneously

Valid driver’s license (site visits required)
